Hi, my name is Joel White and I’m an English Teacher, Mediator and coach.

I was born in the UK in 1983 and worked professionally as a Social Worker before moving to Berlin in 2014. I sought to build on this professional background and experience by adding additional qualifications and experience in teaching, mediation and coaching. The central themes that run through all of my professional work are communication, empowerment, conflict resolution, problem solving and personal development. I work in both English and German.

I offer the following:

English Lessons: I’m a CELTA qualified English teacher with extensive experience working with individuals, groups and businesses both in person and online. The primary focus of all my teaching is creating a supportive learning environment in which students can reach their own personal language learning goals. Mediation: I’m a trained Mediator offering English language mediation online and in the Berlin area. My main areas of focus are family mediation and interpersonal relationships where cultural differences play a role. Coaching: I offer Coaching online and in the Berlin area. My main areas of focus are on personal development and developing an awareness of self to understand our interaction with the world around us.
